These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Aristolog platform, including our website, applications, AI voice calling services, online forms, dashboards, and related services (collectively, the “Services”), provided by Aristolog, Inc. (“Aristolog,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By creating an account, accessing, or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Aristolog provides technology tools only and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call emergency services immediately.
1. Eligibility and User Roles
Aristolog supports the following user types:
- Healthcare Providers
- Caregivers
- Patients, including patients under the age of 18
- Parents or Legal Guardians
- Authorized Representatives
2. Minors and Parental Consent
Patients under the age of 18 may use the Services only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian, unless otherwise permitted by applicable law. Parents or legal guardians consent to the minor’s use of the Services and agree to be bound by these Terms on the minor’s behalf.
3. Nature of the Services (No Medical Care)
- Aristolog does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
- AI voice calls and forms collect and organize information as provided by users.
- All clinical decisions remain solely the responsibility of licensed healthcare providers.
4. Account Registration and Security
- You must provide accurate and complete account information.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials.
- You are responsible for all activity conducted through your account.
5. Patient Data and Consent
Healthcare Providers and Caregivers are responsible for obtaining all legally required patient and parental consents, including consent for AI voice calls, automated data collection, and call recording where permitted by law.
6. Data Use and Privacy
Aristolog processes data on behalf of Providers. Providers remain the data controller for patient health information. Data may be used in de-identified or aggregated form to improve system performance.
7. HIPAA and Healthcare Compliance
Where applicable, Aristolog may enter into a Business Associate Agreement with covered entities and will implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards.
8. Acceptable Use
You may not use the Services for unlawful, deceptive, or unauthorized purposes or interact with minors without proper consent.
9. AI Limitations
AI systems may generate errors or incomplete information. You agree to independently verify information before making healthcare or other critical decisions.
10. Intellectual Property
Aristolog retains all rights to the platform and software. You retain ownership of your data and grant Aristolog a limited license to process it solely to provide the Services.
11. Fees and Subscriptions
Certain features may require payment. Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination.
12. Suspension and Termination
Aristolog may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or legal or security risks.
13. Disclaimers
The Services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aristolog shall not be liable for indirect or consequential damages. Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid to Aristolog in the prior 12 months.
15. Governing Law and Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Any legal action shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Virginia. If a dispute involves a minor, a parent or legal guardian must act on the minor’s behalf.
16. Changes to These Terms
Continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
